The Initial Activities
As a recruiter in A People, you will take the responsibility of managing your own technology niche in a wide territory.
Working with a senior mentor, you will initially:
- Learn advanced techniques along the length of an end-to-end recruitment cycle.
- Learn and become accomplished in advanced sales and closing concepts and techniques
- Learn about software technology
- Take responsibility for your own desk and learn how to maximise your potential
- Learn how to create results driven advertising
And then
- Learn how to present a compelling service proposition in face-to-face scenarios
- Learn behavioural interviewing skills and become proficient in implementing them
- Learn how to mentor trainee recruiters and begin the development of your own team
Entry Experience Achieved
Having worked for a minimum of two years as a recruiter in a recruitment agency environment is required.
You will be able to demonstrate ALL of the following: prospecting, presenting the value proposition, un-covering and dealing with buying resistance and closing.
You will also have:

- A self-starting attitude, exuding belief in your ability to learn and succeed in our team, and an implicit recognition for career progression
- A dedication to the success of your team, and recognising your part in ensuring we achieve our goals

- Excellent written and oral (phone) communication skills
- PC knowledge in Windows environment including MS Office and the internet.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong networks.
